Skiing has been relatively good from the NTN Forestville Trailhead and the trails have held remarkably well after the extended thaw and now cooler dry period.  The base was prepped well and it’s gotten us through with good skating at least – we’ll need some good new snow before classic tracks return to really good status.  We are expecting a slight warm up into the 19th with some light mixed precipitation during the day which should then turn to a wet mix later – overall the forecast doesn’t look great for new accumulating snow until maybe Christmas.  We might get enough for a touch up and mix in new snow with old.  Reports on the west end remain good however we are looking forward to more, new, snow.
