Noque 12
Start Times
Both Races will start at Forestville at 9:45 AM for Freestyle and 10:00 AM Classic on Saturday January 28th.
Participation Gift
Noque 12 participants are not eligible to receive the Swix Hats, however they will receive a special gift with their race packet. This year we will have logo Noque ski ties. The Noque 12 is a great race to use as a stepping stone to the larger Noque. Ski the 12k this year and then next year ski the Noque and receive your hat.
Busing
Busing will be provided to the start area from the Superior Dome only (there will be no busing back to Forestville after the race). Check bus schedule as event nears. Specifics will be posted on the schedule of events page.
Directions to Forestville: Follow Wright street north off of US 41 for approximately one mile to Forestville Road. Turn left. Follow Forestville road for 3 miles. Watch for railroad tracks to the right. Turn right and cross tracks. Immediately turn left for trailhead, restroom and parking. Follow signs.
Awards
Overall awards to the top three finishers. Medals to the top three in each age group for both Classic and freestyle techniques in both Male and Female categories as follows: 24 and under, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+. Awards will be presented at the Upfront.
Timing
Computer chip timing provided by Superior Timing.
Aid Stations
There will be water and energy drink available at the 4.5km to go mark and additional soup and snacks at the finish line in the Superior Dome.
Course Description
Start is at the Forestville Trails Start Area, will head up the trail .5km and loop back and connect with the regular Noquemanon race trail at the 11km to go mark and will follow the regular route into the finish at the Superior Dome.
Rates
$30 by December 31; $35 by January 27; $40 on January 28
Change of Events
If slots are available requests to change races are handled by the Race Administrator. Email info@noquemanon.com or 866-370-RACE prior to January 24th. Changes after the 24th will be accommodated at the Expo, Jan 27th, with a $10 change request fee.
NO changes on Wednesday the 25th, Thursday, 26th or on race day.
Seeding
2012 will have separate male and female waves.
