The Last FOUR most recent trail reports for the Noquemanon!
01.22.2008
Things are shaping up for a great day of racing. We have
plenty of snow all the way to the Dome and a forecast for
perfect race day temps.
Groomers have been very busy getting the entire course ready for the race. Janurary 22, 2008

The trails are looking great. We received another six plus
inches of snow, yes even in town, to cover the base we already had. Prior to the snow, the groomers had already begun work out at the Granite Point area and had rolled the trail in town all the way to the dome. Once this additional snow is groomed we will give you another update, but we are looking forward to a great day of racing.

Janurary 15, 2008 We have received several inches of new snow in Marquette and more to the west. We now have enough snow for a dome finish and are planning accordingly. The skiing conditions are excellent from start to 2km to go and good from 2km to finish line. More snow is in the forecast and it is snowing as we write this (Tues. AM). Cold temperatures are expected for the next week at least so the odds are very high that we will have perfect conditions from start to finish at the dome next weekend.

And the snow keeps coming!
More snow has fallen today and is supposed to continue
into the evening. Snow is in the forecast for most of the week along with some cooler temps.
Along with the snow is the constant grooming to get the rest of the trails prepared for the event.
We can almost see a smile on the Race Directors face.
